New! 1932 S&S Schooner Brilliant

This new version of our Brilliant model has fewer details than our Collector’s Series model but is a larger size. This model features all-planked hull and decks, printed transom and bow name and many of the same details as our more expensive model. A portion of the proceeds of this model go to Mystic Seaport to help maintain this beautiful schooner. Brilliant stood out as superior with her custom design and skilled craftsmanship. Since joining Mystic Seaport’s fleet in 1953, Brilliant has carried more than 8,000 crew members in her sail-training programs, the oldest of its type in the U.S. This program served Mariner Girl Scouts from the mid-1950s to the mid-1980s, and is now open to all teenagers and adults.
